I’ve been hooked on romance since middle school—back when my friends and I passed dog-eared paperbacks under desks like contraband. The library was my dealer, thrift stores were my treasure hunts, and my allowance was stretched to the breaking point so I could chase that next hit of swoony, heart-grabbing FEELS.
As I grew up (and “met” more authors through their worlds), my tastes sharpened. I fell for the stories that mixed adventure and danger with trials that test loyalty and devotion. The kind where love isn’t just sweet—it’s fierce, messy, and worth every sacrifice.
Of course, my slightly warped view of the world means I can’t resist using humor to navigate trouble. I adore heroes who are a little broken, maybe morally gray, but who love with a laser focus—completely, obsessively, and without reservation.
My first series, The Beaumonts, is pure found-family chaos: young, brilliant, a little wild, and definitely over the top. They crash headlong into their perfect matches—ex-military, mafia, and other dangerous types—and every book expands the world they live in. The stories stand alone, but reading them in order? That’s where the magic happens.
Sometimes, characters kick down the door and refuse to leave. Alexei Volkov was supposed to be a one-scene foil in Guarding Cressida (Beaumonts, Book 1). Instead, he stole my heart—and half the plot—until he demanded his own book. Now he’s wandering through The Riders, The Hamiltons, and even the Vanguardian series. He’s just that damn good.
And that’s the fun of writing for me—falling in love with characters who surprise me, stories that won’t let go, and worlds that keep expanding with every book.
